Not sure if the RHD Dolphin model recently displayed in Thailand will be the same model/ have the same specs that will in due course be put on sale in Australia.
Thai reservations have opened with customer deliveries expected to start by July this year.
The Thai offering is said to be the standard model for an entry-level standard range variant with a 44.8 kWh battery pack which delivers 410 km of NEDC range or over 300 km of range on the WLTP.

58.56kwh battery, 471km range (WLTC). 150kwh motor.
This Youtuber claims Australia will get the 'top of the range model' -
The larger battery is said to have been a specific decision for the Australian market
So...the Australian final price therefore might well be into the $40 k plus range? But we get more as well ?
But no one apart from BYD really knows so far ?
Still looks like excellent value – to me anyway.
Also initial supplies of Right hard Drive model will come from China but towards the end of 2023 Thai production is projected to kick in and the Thai factory will specifically produce RHD models.
Japan sales said to begin in June.
